The Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container Association (FIBCA) was formed in 1983 by the companies that were manufacturing bulk bags at that time. There was a need for a single voice in dealing with the regulatory bodies that controlled the shipment of products. FIBCA today is the source of information to its members on regulations for international shipments of product.

The American Peanut Council (APC) is the trade association which represents all segments of the peanut industry. Members include peanut growers, peanut shellers, brokers, peanut product manufacturers, and suppliers of goods and services to the industry. The APC monitors developments in the domestic and international markets and responds with a diverse array of domestic and international marketing, trade servicing, food safety, research and issues management programs.

The Textile Bag and Packaging Association was established over 70 years ago. This association seeks to promote the trade and build membership through meetings, newsletters and roster listing.
